Eastern Health Authority (EHA) has a proud history of promoting and enforcing public health standards in Adelaide’s eastern and inner northern suburbs.
Continuing in the tradition of the East Torrens Council Board, which operated from 1899, to the present day regional subsidiary protecting the health and well being of about 160,000 residents plus visitors, EHA is an example of council shared service delivery at its very best.
Established under the Local Government Act (1999), we work across our Constituent Councils to improve public and environmental health standards.
