We specialize in all forms of Cataract Surgery from the simple to the complex, the surgical and medical management of Glaucoma, Pterygium surgery, Intravitreal injections for Age Related Macula Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy and Retinal Vein Occlusions, and other Retinal and Anterior Segment Laser procedures, Eyelid tumors, Reconstructive and Oculoplastic procedures, Lacrimal surgery and the management of Eye Emergencies and Trauma.
Both intraocular injections and extraocular surgery is performed on site in our modern, minor operating theatres.

This was a very bad experience. Despite Stephen O'Hagan telling me that there was a 1 in 150,000 chance of a problem, I ended up with damage to both eyes after a (supposedly) simple cataract surgery. After a number of extremely painful injections into one of my eyes I am now facing the prospect of going blind in both eyes.
Three hours to get one needle is ridiculous. Two eye preps nearly two hours apart and shuffled around corridors for reasons I couldn't work out. This facility is so slow and exasperating. The same procedure in Brisbane takes 30 minutes, this mob, almost 3 hours with double the staff. Then they have to be asked to request the Medicare rebate.
