Fantastic natural swimming hole (with an added pontoon)
Fish galore in rocky reefy parts. Snorkel , paddle board or kayak - all fun and all possible!
This place was our family's favourite part of the Yorke Peninsula. Often we were the only ones using it.
Spear fishing not permitted, nor dogs (but many people brought dogs down on leash).
Carpark at the top of the stairs is ample. Change rooms and toilets were both dissapointing in terms of maintenance and repair. Vandals had obviously been present ????.
Beach is nice and sandy with enough room even at high tide. Rock pools a plenty at low tide.
Don't miss this beach- or magazine bay (which is just around the corner)
