Chef Jaruk grew up in a family of common culinary love in Samutprakarn, Thailand. In his 30s, he left his career as an engineer and moved to Brisbane where he worked his way into the kitchens of several Thai and Asian restaurants, eventually becoming the Head Chef. With his wife and sister, "Thai on Rode" was opened in 2011, where he translated his true passion into delicious dishes.
Jaruk and team are committed to providing their customers with fresh cuisine with the highest regards to quality, food safety and hygiene. We are glad that we are one of the first Thai in mind for locals since then.
