About Mates Theatre Genesis
MATES Theatre Genesis is non-profit, community theatre group who have been part of the cultural landscape of Redlands City for thirty years. The group rehearse and perform at the Birkdale School of Arts Hall and produce 3-4 shows a year – comedies, dramas and small stage and cabaret style musicals.
We also host regular script reading sessions (StageworX), workshops and Theatre Jam events.
MATES Theatre Genesis provides an avenue for people of all ages to ‘have a go’ at any, or all disciplines of theatre as an actor, singer, dancer, directing, producing, technical, set building and back stage.
