We spent a wonderful week with fabulous hosts Lynne and John, aboard Sydney Sundancer with our 4 children and very good friends of ours who were also a family of 2 adults and 2 children. The boat really is very expertly planned and we very much enjoyed the space on deck to watch the sunsets and views as we moved between locations. There was a juggle of space to set up at night, but we were all very comfortable and each had our own beds, nothing was too much trouble. Lynne’s cooking was next level amazing, and our children still keep mentioning the very ‘fancy’ food we were treated to each day! We were celebrating four birthdays between us all and Lynne very thoughtfully baked us two very delicious cakes complete with decorations and candles. I bought their book as a memento but particularly so that I can recreate her delicious meals once we are back home!
Lynne’s photographs of our week provided on USB as a memento for us was just another example of their commitment to providing the full luxury sailing experience. We experienced fabulous sunsets, amazing snorkelling, wonderful bushwalks and stunning vistas with each night docked in a different bay. John’s experience as Captain was very reassuring and he guided the boat to the best spot each day according to the conditions. I would highly recommend booking with Lynne and John, sooner rather than later, in case they book out. Thank you again for having us aboard!
Our 6 day sailing adventure with Lynne and John exceeded our very high expectations. The boat is perfect for two couples and we were very lucky to have the master stateroom. Every day was different and determined by the weather. We were lucky to have excellent weather which allowed for an overnight stay out on the reef, the highlight of our trip. Lynne is an absolute wiz in the kitchen and all our meals were gourmet standard. Lynne is also an expert on corals and sea life and snorkelled with us every day with her trusty camera in hand. At the end of the trip, she gave us a USB stick with all the photos and videos - a real bonus. But most importantly, Lynne and John are great company and we ended the trip as friends. Really good value and we will be back one day.
