The kunanyi/Mt Wellington Explorer Bus departs daily from Hobart’s waterfront to the summit of kunanyi/Mt Wellington. Rising 1270 metres above sea level, experience spectacular views over Hobart and Tasmania’s southern region. The 2-hr return tour includes 30 minutes to explore the summit.
OR, if you’re looking for a little more adventure, you also have the option to hop-on and hop-off at multiple bus stops where you’ll find a wide range of bushwalking tracks to explore. Enjoy kunanyi/Mt Wellington at your own pace, then hop-on a later bus to return to Hobart.
Buses are wheelchair accessible and can carry mountain bikes.
Tours operate 7 days a week, closed Christmas Day. Buses depart 5 times a day in summer and 3 times a day in winter.
