About YMCA Canberra Space Squad
YMCA Canberra Space Squad, Australia’s only space-themed school holiday program, is an immersive live-in camp program for students in Years 6-9 who love Space!
It is an action-packed space experience that they won’t want to miss.
Over 5-days, Space Squadders learn all about space, meeting scientists, engineers, physicists, astronomers and Astrophysicists, who are working on NASA missions.
They visit the Advanced Instrument and Technology Centre, Questacon, NASA Deep Space Communications Complex, touch satellites, launch rockets and fly drones.
Camps are held in Canberra staying at the YMCA Bush Capital Lodge which won the Best Standard Accommodation category at the 2015 Canberra and Region Tourism Awards.
