About Sydney Seaplanes
We first took to the air in 2005 with just a single plane, a de Haviland Beaver. Now, just a decade or so later, we are the largest seaplane operator in Australia!
After flying out of the Harbour for 80 years seaplanes have become a quintessential part of Sydney as we fly right over, above and around some of the world’s most awe-inspiring views - the Opera House, the Harbour Bridge, the Pittwater, a string of pristine city beaches and the luxuriant bushland of the Hawkesbury region.
All scenic flights depart from our historic terminal and museum in Rose Bay with daily fly/dine packages to the culinary delights of such waterfront restaurants as the Cottage Point Inn, Peats Bite or Jonah’s at Whale Beach.
