Paid $660 for the 1 day Tiwi By Design tour today and looked like being an expensive 5 hour ride on a ferry to Bathurst Island. One and a half hours short in our itinerary because we had to be ferried to shore in three groups on a barge. I’m sure the barge crew and ferry crew had not discussed how they were going to get us safely to the Island prior to arriving. Suppose to be there for morning tea but made it for lunch. What a shamble, if it wasn’t for the wonderful local people on the Island doing their best to make our tour enjoyable in the shortened time frame, then it would have certainly been an expensive trip to Bathurst Island.
