I was given an unwanted, intense and over-the-top speech about travel safety as a single woman. I was told that when I go on my trip I should only speak to other female travelers who are similar height and weight to me, and that if I do not follow this advice I will definitely be kidnapped. I was told that if I accept directions from a stranger I will surely be led somewhere where I will be beaten with baseball bats and have my possessions stolen. This is absolutely ridiculous travel advice and it sickens me that someone in a position of authority is telling patients this with no source to back it up. I felt very uncomfortable and did not know how to react. I will not be going back here and do not recommend the clinic to others.
