We’re a lot cheaper than most places and was happy with the work, the manager was very helpful in organising the job.
I have used Dickies many times in the past. This time I was let down. Firstly the quote was made on the 30th November and told it would be 2 weeks. As Christmas and new year intervened I did not bother to ring until 11th Jan. Apparently the quote had been mislaid. I said any days except Tuesday or Friday would suit. Later that afternoon I received a call to say they could be their in 15 minutes. I was visiting my wife in care but foolishly agreed. I already had a reticulation man working at home. In all the rush I omitted 2 of the shrubs to be done. Secondly I had requested that my mulch be left. I did not realise the truck already had a huge amount of, largely, unsuitable mulch. The result was an enormous heap of second rate mulch. I am almost 90 years old and the prospect of perhaps 6 -8 metres of mulch was more than daunting.
To say I am displeased would be an understatement.
