I am a Senior Primary School Teacher who is currently on leave. I am qualified to teach up to grade 10.
For the past 8 years I have taught in the Prep-year 3 space. I have also worked in learning support and extension for reading, writing and math for prep-year 7. I enjoyed being a prep coach; training teachers on how to introduce and support reading and writing in their classrooms. I have also been a math coordinator.
Prior to becoming a mum, I spent 7 successful years tutoring primary and high school students, mainly in English and Math but I would also help with assignment planning and homework. My students were very successful, not only academically but also gaining confidence in themselves.
