Very bad experience with the store manager at the Gepps Cross store. I went to the store to return a faulty vacuum cleaner i'd bought a few days earlier, and the manager refused flat out to give me a refund. Then he went on to try and upsell me another vacuum costing nearly twice as much, even when i specifically asked for what i wanted, he would not listen to me or address my requirements. He kept pushing the terms and conditions in front of me trying to make me feel stupid, and gave me the head office phone number which he knew was closed at that time!! Very poor customer service unfortunately from this overall excellent company. Wasted 45 minutes in the store and was late for other appointments.
Went to the Croydon store the next day, and they were excellent and resolved the issue without any problems, very friendly and helpful staff there... and top marks to them. Overall Godfreys is a great store, but won't be going to the Gepps Cross one at any cost.
