About Goldfields War Museum
The Goldfields region has a rich military history that is reflected in the Goldfields War Museum collection.
As a result of an earthquake, the home of the Goldfields War Museum was badly damaged and relocated to the 1st Floor, Kalgoorlie Town Hall. There you will see thought provoking displays of personal artefacts showcasing the involvement of Goldfields people in times of war.
Currently a new museum is being developed that will showcase the uniquely interesting stories of Goldfields people who have endured the hardships of war.
The Goldfields War Museum is also home to the Local History Archives housing a wide collection of research material including a well-stocked local history specialist library.
