About Ballarat Textile Recycling
Ballarat Textile Recycling was created by Leah Justyce for the need of reducing Textile Waste in our country. It extends beyond that as reducing clutter in homes reduces stress too. We take your donated items and recreate one off home decor pieces giving new life to items that otherwise end up as rubbish. 10% of all sales goes to WWF Australia too. So it's a huge circle of environment and human sustainability.
We accept all kinds of clothing, material, rope, doonas, linen, curtains, lace, textiles, the list goes on and on. We also accept wire, guitars, mirrors, old style suitcases, coffee tables and chairs. As these items are part of our collection of products that can be revamped with the textiles being incorporated.
