About Bundaberg Water
Welcome to Bundaberg Water.
We are all affected by toxic chemicals in the air and food that we consume. Water is the only way to flush out these toxins so it is important to make sure your water source is providing pure water. This is especially important for children because they are much more sensitive to contaminants because their defense systems have not fully developed. The purer the water is the greater its ability to purify and cleanse the body, so drink up!
At Bundaberg Water we aim to partner with you to provide the very best in healthy, safe potable drinking water for you and your family. With 32 years as licensed plumbers we know what to deliver to provide the very best.

Bundaberg Water
22 Sept 2021Hi everyone. I've been receiving a lot of questions lately that in the past have been very rare. Namely, "where does our water come from, and is it town water" These questions have mainly come from the Gladstone Regional Council area north of Bundaberg.
Let me explain the requirements of selling potable (consumption) water and the differences between Bundaberg and Gladstone councils.
To sell potable water in Queensland the supplier must have a Qld Health Food Licence. The same Food Licence every business must have that sells food to the public. In our case it is administered by Bundaberg Regional Council and allows us to sell potable water throughout Queensland. In addition our truck and trailer are inspected and tested regularly by the council.
Like all food businesses we are required to display our food licence in our premises. (our truck) This is difficult without blocking a window but we do carry a copy and it is available on request. We also include it on our web site. All vehicles are to display the business name, contact details, Food Licence number and "Potable (or Drinking) Water Only" markings on our tanks.
In Bundaberg Regional Council we are only allowed to deliver water from a council approved water delivery point. There's 3 in Bundaberg, and one each in Childers and Gin Gin. In Gladstone Regional Council, delivered water is to comply with the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines. Which all councils also must adhere to. The nearest town water pickup point for the the Agnes Water, Lowmead, Baffle Creek and Deepwater area is either North Bundaberg, Gin Gin, Calliope or one provided by council for the sole use of a single supplier in Agnes Water.
We must also have a system in place to trace where each load of water is collected from and delivered to. We use our booking app to undertake this tracing compliance.
I hope this information helps you, and maybe prompts you of what questions to ask when your next looking for a load of good quality drinking water for you and your family.
