We are so grateful to have found Jeff, and it was absolutely lovely it was having him there to capture our magical wedding day on camera. He made us feel comfortable from the moment we met up for a chat pre-wedding and remained the same kind, calming, reassuring, reliable and professional pillar of support in all the busy-ness of the wedding day, going from location to location. So many of our bridal party and even the vendors told me, "your videographer is just the sweetest guy" and they were so right. He gently guided us along, relaxed us, kept us on track and encouraged us each step of the way and made us feel so very special for our big, emotional moments. We felt super reassured by him, knew we could really trust him to do an amazing job (thanks to all the prep work he did beforehand in getting to know what we wanted and expected), and we both feel so lucky to have had him by our side on our big day.

And that’s even before his amazing videos came out! When we’d first met Jeff, he asked us about our preferences to ensure he could create the right kind of video magic that we wanted. We explained that we wanted a sentimental, romantic keepsake; we wanted something we would cherish for a lifetime and be able to watch back and remember exactly how happy and in love and excited and emotional it all felt the day we got married. Then a few days after the wedding, Jeff sent us the link to the sneak peek video, and he had us in tears. He absolutely delivered with a video that truly captured our big feelings by editing together the reading of our wedding letters with some amazing footage from all throughout the day. It was beautiful, and we loved sharing it with our family and friends so soon after the wedding. Then came the wonderfully put together compilations from our ceremony and reception! It was like watching a 90 minute movie of us, cut together with love. We held ‘screenings’ for our family and friends and had everybody tearing up and noticing all the details and moments that were missed on the day because we were so busy!! These are special videos we will cherish, with our speeches, our vows and our first dance captured in completion so beautifully. Not just a moment in time, now they are forever.

Today we received our highlight video as the best Christmas present ever. Simply put, it was the video we had dreamed of. It was the reason we decided we wanted a videographer in the first place. It was the perfect memory capsule of a day that meant so much to us, bundled up in 8 minutes that we can’t wait to show our future kids one day, and watch many more times cosied up on the couch together, re-living our favourite day. We highly recommend Jeff and Oikos Studios if you’re looking for someone who will gently and quietly capture all the best parts of your wedding day and turn your memories into timeless and romantic videos that you can watch over and over. We are looking forward to being 90 and 92 (respectively) and crying happy nostalgic tears re-watching them for the 1000th time. Jeff from Oikos was 10/10. We used Oikos for our videography and Henry as our photographer, and they did not disappoint. From the minute they arrived they bought so much ease, laughter and fun into the room and made things so exciting and easy going. We just got our photos back so far and wow they have captured everything! The really captured the true essence of our day - filled with family and love. I cannot wait to see the videos now ???? we cannot thank you guys enough!
