About Sea Shelter
Sea Shelter is a non-profit Rescue & Rehabilitation centre plus soon to be Animal Hospital for fish (especially sharks and sting rays), Sea Turtles and Sea Snakes.
Operating out of Irukandji Shark & Ray Encounters' quarantine area at the moment and has the 5 R's:
RESCUE (marine life aside from mammals)
REHABILITATE (working with vets & other wildlife hospitals)
RELEASE (all rescues are released, not kept or sold)
REGENERATE (local ocean habitat in the hunter)
RESEARCH (how we can improve methods of looking after and protecting the ocean)
Sea Shelter was founded by Ryan and Lia Pereira (The owners of Irukandji) in 2017
