About Woodland Reserve
Woodland Reserve is a predator-proof sanctuary for rare and endangered fauna in Whiteman Park. Protected by specially designed, electrified predator-proof fencing, the Reserve protects some of our state’s most at-risk native species from the threats posed by cats, dogs and foxes. Covering over 500 hectares and three habitat types, Woodland Reserve is the Park’s leading conservation program. You can explore the Reserve and see some of its native inhabitants on a guided tour - Nocturnal Woylie Walks take place on Friday nights across the warmer months, while the special Kids Woylie Walks occur mid-week during select school holidays.
