“Tranby Tea house is absolutely gorgeous, quaint little cupcakes served on a silver tier, with old style finger sandwiches and to die for tea. For the boys they do a lovely steak sandwich or even a ploughmans lunch.
I received great customer service from all of the staff that I will definately be going back for, it is rare these days, and they even let us split the bill and pay part eftpos/cash!”

“Along with 5 friends I had dinner at Raktacino last night. The staff were amazing, especially considering they were run off their feet. The pizzas were the best I have had anywhere! Try the Venezia - oozing with seafood and a lovely garlicky taste. The only downside is the restaurant is small and with a lot of hard surfaces so it can be nboisy although this adds to the "buzz" of the place. We were able to move to tables outside which was just great especially for the 3 men in our group who being ex farmers have poor hearing ( or is it just age catching up!) Loved the chef coming out to speak with each table of guests.”

My wife and I booked a function, months in advance to celebrate my 70th birthday and our 40th wedding anniversary in January 2010. On the 10th December, 2009 my wife visited the cafe to finalise arrangements and paid a deposit. The receipt clearly indicates the date of the function and my wife was assured that things would be fine. We arrived on the specified date in January to find thae restaurant closed! We had invited 30 guests and suddenly there was NO venue. The only contact number we had was the cafe itself, so phoning was out of the question, even though we tried. How angry and disppointed do you think we were? If they were unable to meet their commitment they should have called us but did NOT. Please avoid this establishment!”

“How disappointing - High Tea $38/head- Everything served at once, unbelievable. We were told it was a 2 hour sitting, most of that time was waiting for service. Seated in a noisy room, no music, sounds of other customers complaining at the counter and phone conversations at the service desk despite loads of room outside, obviously more convienient for staff rather that best seating for customers. I have never eaten anywhere with such dismal value for money. Never again!”
