About Us

Kayell Queensland has been established in Brisbane for over 25 years, during which time we have serviced the Queensland professional photographic market with equipment, consumable items, hire equipment and sound advice and back up on equipment purchases. As our market now broadens we welcome photographers with all levels of experience to talk to us about finding the right solution for the tasks ahead. Kayell Queensland was the first retail company in Queensland to adopt the ‘new digital photographic systems’ well over a decade ago; and we are still selling digital equipment and advising customers on their purchases and how to get the best from them. Kayell Queensland has an excellent reputation for pre and after sales support on all equipment and accessory purchases which are backed up by an extensive equipment rental department from which customers can ‘try out’ and also hire cameras, lenses and lighting when they need extra items for a shoot. Our store is manned by experienced photographic salespersons who have either worked in the industry for many years or who have tertiary qualifications in photography. If you value advice with a fair price please call into our store or select your purchases from our on-line store to have them shipped direct to your door. You will not be disappointed when you shop at Kayell in person or on-line.

“Hi, i think it's fair to share the following info with all potential buyers. I have used this website on 3 occassion as it was recommended by my sister. She had one good experiance and one bad.

My first order arrived in the UK after 6 weeks, the second was cancelled and refunded after 4 months of chasing and the last one has been really disasturous. i placed the order on 13 November and it has still never been recieved, they will not reply to emails and have not issued a refund.

As a distance purchaser the pursuit of any form of redress has cost me a lot of time and money. The OFT have passed the case to the CTTT and this is all very stressful.

I just want my money back but as that's not going to happen, I feel it fair to warn others.

    Best wishes,

    Annette :o(”
