“Bought a new card recently. The antistatic bag had already been opened. Tried it in my computer, doesn't work. A partial refund offered - a "restocking" fee of $10 for checking if it worked. Did it work to begin with? No exchange offered. Item is not fit for the purpose it was intended for, and advised of the purpose at time of purchase. This shop currently doesn't appear up with current consumer law. Ignore the sign in the shop on refunds and exchanges! Be warned!”

“I go to Active Electronics Components whenever I need help to put together my TV and home theatre. They know so much about everything electrical and never hesitate to offer me advice and their support. I can't imagine there being any better electronic component stores in Hobart.”

Pretty High Standards in there!! But, I guess you wouldnt expect any less - dealing with high profile brands like Sony Sharp LG.. Would recommend”

“This store has an appauling reture policy, that is to say, if you bought it, you keep it. My fathers girlfriend went to return a hard drive as it wasn't what she was after. The recept doesn't say anything about not accepting returns. They turned her away, going so far as to call the police to escort her out of the store. The product wasn't opened, the plasing wrapper around the box was intact, and proved no attempt was even made to open the box. A mate also bought a TV out cable for his iPod. He showed concern on if it would work with his iPod, the manages assured him. We took it home, tried it out, didn't work, and his excuse was his TV was damaged, even after explaining other products worked and the one he sold didn't. Another refund was refused.”
