Cathy & Neil are exceptional at producing high-quality wines. I find their wines to be full of varietal and terroir specific flavours. The wines also pair well with food, I especially like the Cab Sauvignon.

Awesome scenery and service as well as great wine! The sensory garden is a great idea. All the wines we tasted were really good and it was nice to have the winemaker talk us through them. Well worth the drive to come here

Visited Whicher Ridge winery on Friday 20 November for a sip and pick tour of their sensory garden with my dog Rosie, and it was so beautiful, Cathy was a great host and her wines are delicious. The experience of learning how varietals match with herbs and veges was enlightening. A very different experience from other cellar doors. If you love gardens and wine this is for you.

Superb small winery, with thoughtful offerings of the major wine types. The Chardonnay is wonderful, the Sauvignon Blanc is on a completely different level to others, and the Sparkling Red is just delicious, and only available at the cellar door. Plus a super good Cabernet to fill out the offering.

The sensory garden is an educative delight, and unique so far as I know. It is worth finding the way there for this alone.

It’s tricky to get their, and Google maps will misdirect you - so be warned! It is thoroughly worth the effort however and you will find Cathy a gracious and knowledgeable host.
