I found Alex through google. My initial enquiry was to look at a dripping tap and a couple of other things in my grandma’s house that over the years had stopped working. For example my grandma had been without a kitchen sink and working kitchen taps for about 5 years!

Alex spent time assessing all the taps, toilets, pipes etc. and identified that there was an extreme amount of corrosion and that a lot of things need to be replaced (the house is very old and has all of the original plumbing and fixtures). He drew up a quote on the spot along with a time frame of 2 days of work. He explained everything to me over the phone and emailed through a very thorough quote that clearly outlined everything he would be doing.

He attended a few days later and true to his word completed the work within 2 days with no additional costs. Not only that he is an extremely kind and generous person. He took my grandma to the bank so she didn’t have to carry around a large amount of cash on public transport. This saved us a 2 hour round trip of taking her to the bank ourselves. He also assisted with the removal of some timber so her new fridge could fit into the kitchen. He moved the fridge into the kitchen for her, all this at no additional cost.

Alex has made this process for my grandma less daunting. She hasn’t had many good experiences with tradies and often worries that she will get taken advantage of. He kept me in the loop throughout the process sending through updates and pictures (including a selfie with grandma cute!)

I am so incredibly thankful that I found Alex and seriously cannot recommend him enough.

Alex arrived at scheduled time. He was very friendly, courteous and professional. He assessed the job, made phone call to locate what I needed and then gave me a quote which was very competitive. I accepted and he then went to pick-up what was required with no hesitation whatsoever. On return he got started on my job all the while with a happy personality. On completion he cleaned everything up in both bathrooms and I was very happy. Alex was amazing and such a lifesaver too. Our hot water system went the week before our wedding and it was no drama for Alex to fix it and reinstall another promptly and effortlessly. The week prior to this, Alex fixed a tap in our shower which has been on and off drop dripping with numerous washer replacements for years. I’m so happy to say, no longer any drips and he was very professional doing it too.
