Michelle Macarthur-King created Bungedore Drama School to create an outlet for children to explore their feelings without enrolling in a full-on theatre program. We strive to create classes that build confidence, teach drama skills, and nurture creativity. Bungendore Drama School encourages positive interactions to foster a strong community spirit that empowers students to be open-minded, non-judgmental, creative and happy.
Speech and Drama classes offer students the opportunity to participate in grade work through the International Music Examination Board (IMEB). These classes are a combination of drama skills and speech skills particularly looking at how we speak, grammar conventions and sound-letter relationships through the study of phonetics, understanding of sound blending and exploring the physiology of speaking.
