Wir kamen am Nachmittag bei der Werkstatt an. Peter, der Chef, hat uns für den nächsten Morgen einen Termin gegeben. Er ist ein sehr kompetenter Mechaniker mit 30 Jahren Berufserfahrung. Man hat gleich das Gefühl hier ist man richtig. Er repariert alle Marken. Wir waren mit unserem Mitsubishi Delica 4wd bei ihm. Die Reparatur war professionell und zu einem fairen Preis.

We have just completed the lock-up stage of our home with Akoonah, and we felt it was only fair to share our experience for those looking for a builder to bring their dream home to life.

From the very beginning, James was an outstanding person to work with. He spent countless hours (many free hours of his time!!!) discussing the project with us, not only exploring how it could reflect our vision but also ensuring it aligned with our budget. I honestly don’t know anyone in the industry more patient or a better listener than James.

As soon as the build commenced, both James and the team demonstrated genuine enthusiasm, professionalism, and full transparency at every stage. One of the most reassuring aspects for us was that James was always on-site and always available. That level of personal involvement is rare, and it was one of the key reasons we chose Akoonah—knowing he would be present and engaged every step of the way, unlike many other companies we had looked into.

James and his team (specially Geordie , Nathan and Wilko! Amazing job they did!) clearly take great pride in their work. Time and again, they went above and beyond what was expected. While we’re not builders ourselves, we like to think we’re more informed than the average client, and it was clear to us that everything was executed to a very high standard.

Like any build, there were some challenges—although fewer than anticipated—and in every case, James was there to listen and work collaboratively to resolve them. His calm, humble, and transparent approach made a real difference.

We are truly grateful to have had Akoonah and James as part of our journey. We’re incredibly happy with the result and look forward to seeing more beautiful homes built by them in the future.

Old Skool service center, which means no cheating, fair price, good service. I've got a Holden Cruze over an Auction in Taren Point. As the car was registered in another city and rego has expired, I needed to find a service center nearby to issue a blue slip. The first place I've been to, pointed out a oil leak after 5 min of inspection. They refused to fix it arguing that it will cost more than the price of the car and charged me A$50 for the time "spent". However they referred Carline, where I've found Peter that solved the oil leak just replacing the gasket, fixed other issues and advised future needs. This place is really far way from where I live, but it's gonna be there where my car will be served from now on.

Friendly, no problems at all. Good to deal with.

I was in a real pickle and needed a pink slip and, to get that, some work done on my dads car. I had only a few hours available to do that. On the spur of the moment, after a recommendation from a friend, I landed in Carline, without shame, begging for help. They were snowed under with work, but busted a gut to fit me in, did a perfect job and I was on my way. This is old fashioned service in a good way. Of course, one must reciprocate and be an old fashioned customer, and not a demanding jerk (which is what I observed one customer being). Work with them and Carline will do their absolute best for you. I included a photo of the car they fixed. It's not your average car, not something that all mechanics would be familiar with. Carline had no problem fixing that lovely 30 year old dinosaur.
