A beautiful piece of Forest, toilets, places to walk, peaceful, history :)
Cool little toilet stop and would be a nice swim in the warmer months
Don't be fooled by thinking that the main road bridge is the one tree bridge.
You need to walk about another 100m to see the original bridge.
Very impressive to think that the tools and lack thereof that they used created the bridge.
Well worth the effort.
Worth a quick stop. Riverside is really quite and if more time available, follow the river bank for amazing Birdlife. Watch also for lizards basking in the sun on footpath.
Friendly staff, also very helpful. Love the Toasties on Tuesday at darts. I love the club.
very informative. learnt a lot about the early settlers who tried to make a quick buck mining graphite only to find out it was not of the right quality to export. we enjoyed crossing the bridge and also the walk in the forest very much. very tranquil and amazingly peaceful as well. also nice to see the site well maintained in pristine condition. will certainly recommend this place to others.
Great history with this spot... highly recommended stopping and checking it out!!.
If you’re driving past it would be worth having a look while you’re there but otherwise its a little disappointing.
We did a trail walk from the big 4 Kari trees to see One Tree Bridge, never seeing it before and were looking forward to exploring. But to be honest we were abit underwhelmed.
However the suspension bridge is pretty cool though.
What a beautiful place! We stumbled across it while we were exploring the surrounding area.
So glad we got the chance to visit, it’s definitely worth a look if you’re in the area. We went for a walk along the river too, it’s quiet and peaceful. Lots of picnic tables and also has public toilets which is very convenient.
The staff made us feel really welcome. Food was really good, came out quickly and was well priced. Highly recommend this place.
It's like that scene in Forrest Gump when he described that he saw two skies, one on top of the other. I got THAT feeling when I stumbled across the Glenoran Pool. The water is so quiet and crystal clear that you just wanna throw something in it to disturb the quiet, or maybe you should just leave it alone and enjoy the quiet. This is the kind of quiet that you can't buy nowadays.
There is a trail on the right side and as it was getting dark, we didn't have the time to explore where it goes. But it is a really pretty trail that follows the creek to who knows where. I'd be coming back here one of these days to find out where the trail ends.
Great place for a stop and look around, nicely preserved bit of history. Definitely worth visiting!
Flushing toilets, dog friendly and good river access for a swim, kayak or SUP...
One of those spots you usually drive past that deserves a look...
