David’s friendliness, expertise, excellent communication and genuine concern for my home’s stability, had me feeling secure and comfortable in the work being conducted on my newly purchased home. At every point, he explained the process and outcome. His attention to detail was outstanding. I really do now have the best looking piers in town! And not only was the house leveled to perfection, but the underlying issue dealt with in an exceptional manner. I am absolutely confident that I now have a little cottage that has been re-built2last!

Dave was fantastic, turned up on time every time, explained everything clearly and undertook the job efficiently. He is a perfectionist, his work is spot on, I had 6 underpins and the holes were perfect and straight, concrete was smooth and perfect, no corners cut, no sloppiness. You can see why he was recommended by a construction engineer. He even came back to check on his work a year later. I had underpinnings by 2 other builders previously, wish I had found Dave sooner.

I have had 2 projects with David from Built2Last, both requiring tricky solutions on difficult sites. Built2Last was recommended by my engineer, and he and David worked together with us, to find the optimal solutions for both projects. David negotiated access with my neighbours in an open, friendly and transparent manner, enhancing our good relationships with our neighbours. The site was kept safe and clean everyday, with minimal impact on all properties. Because of the access, our 2.5m gabion retaining wall had to be built by hand, with rocks selected 1 by 1. It not only looks amazing, it is strong and will last way past our lifetimes. David's easy but professional manner ensures we will now use Built2Last for the next phase of our project. Dean the owner was the operator for the couple of days we had him at our place, he was on time clean friendly and was very helpful with overcoming the challenges I faced with the dig. I would recommend port coast to anyone that needs a professional experience excavation company to get the job done.

Could not ask for a better removalist out of Duncan - I've had movers and delivery drivers bang up walls or items in the past, but Duncan put a lot of care and attention into bringing things down three flights of narrow stairs and packing them into the truck. It looked like he was moving his own stuff. He offered really fair pricing, communicated really well in the lead up and on the day, acted professionally and really cared about what he was doing. Moving sucks, but if I have to do it again I'm calling Major Move.

Just wanted to give a shout out to these blokes for their professional work ethic and attitude. They were great to deal with and very reliable. They easily catered for my daughter and her boyfriend who moved in together from their separate apartments. They kept me updated with their ETA, which I truly appreciated. Gentle, careful, relaxed, and calm despite the strenuous nature of work. Overall, they went above and beyond.

After being given the run around by several plumbers we decided to contact jack and his team for help, jack didn’t hesitate and got to the job in no time sorting out our issues as well as doing some upgrades while he was at it and all for a great price. I was fortunate to find you through HIPages and you promptly answered my request. It was short notice, just the day before. Even in our first conversation you came across as warm and easy to talk to.

Mine was a relatively small job compared to others but you updated me twice during the afternoon which was a very considerate and appreciated gesture.

You turned up with great smiles too despite having already had a long day.

I felt like I’d known you forever.

Duncan checked several times about various boxes and furniture so there was never a chance of missing anything.

At the drop off address all care was taken as they backed up the driveway. The truck wasn’t getting damaged nor was the house.

All in all the 2 of them packed and unpacked very carefully. I would recommend these guys and certainly use them again!

Good rates, polite, considerate and prompt. This is a small newly established business of experienced guys and great for smaller moves as they just get the truck size they need rather than throwing all your stuff in a giant dirty old truck like my previous move.

I was experiencing a horror moving day when the movers I originally booked (Polaris Removals), didn't show up and only after I called them did they inform me they did not have a driver and to find someone else.

Desperately, I put the word out online that I needed a same day move and Duncan contacted me within 15 minutes offering his services at more than a fair price given the circumstances.

Duncan and Ray were punctual, compassionate, friendly, efficient and careful with all my stuff. They communicated clearly their plans with transport and were honest with their progress.

The move with them couldn't have gone smoother and they even stayed back to ensure my appliances were installed correctly and that everything was where I wanted it.

I leave this review hoping that more people will see this new business and give these two honest, hard-working guys a shot and help them grow.
