Excellent plumbers like Fabian with excellent customer service, helpful and ability to fix plumbing issues and recommend solutions. However, unlike my wonderful experience with the plumbers, the accounts payable staff was unhelpful. As direct deposit was the preferred payment option and I don't do internet banking, I rang the office as soon as I did a direct deposit for payment at the bank. The bank staff Fiona told me that she cannot put my name down as the payee but only the invoice number. Consequently I was worried and rang Hames Reid for confirmation that the payment has landed after making the deposit. Other tradesmen can confirm it immediately by looking at their internet banking. However the accounts payable woman at Hames Reid refused to do so and said will ring me the next day. However she never rang me the next day which I found perturbing

After rain, water was coming into our house via guttering (or so we thought). We wasted time and money with other companies that promise they can fix (but couldn’t!). We will not make that mistake again. Very happy with Hames Reid and will use them again.
Dave Watson came out today after we had some major issues with temperature control in our showers and leaky taps, Dave spent so much time taking care of all issues evaluating everything whilst explaining the process and how much each problem would cost to fix and took time to sort out the best method of repair. He was respectful friendly and polite.
Would like to thank Chris D for his friendly and professional service he provided in getting our hot water system to work and also in discovering an unknown gas leak inside our house. Highly recommended!
