We were met at the retreat's office by a warm welcome from Joy and were directed to our cabin. Upon arrival everything is perfectly placed, laid out and setup. Their jacuzzi is located just outside the chalet with good view of the surrounding and the sky. We will be back for sure, thanks you Simon and Joy.

Great experience with nature. Roos, bandicoots and woylies eating from your hand. Took OS visitors for a weekend. Best they ever had. Not flash but clean and private accom 20 min drive from Margs.

Perfect spot for hubby and I to get away, in fact we were lucky enough to extend our stay by another night! Cabin was clean, tidy and comfortable with everything you need and more. Central to everything and sitting with the animals and watching them interact was fabulous, totally recommend!!

Great place to stay, as close to all the Margaret River Wineries. Accommodation is great and the outdoor spa is absolutely fantastic.

Sophie was a lifesaver, as we had a bombshell of a last-minute cancellation on a accommodation booking elsewhere at 4pm on a Sunday afternoon (on a long weekend holiday too) we thought we would be sleeping in the car!

But we always go with the motto "things happen for a reason" and this was evident on us finding Springwood Homestead, what started as a potential complete disaster turned into a superb couple nights away on our wedding anniversary in the Margret River

My partner and I stayed at the Island Brook Estate couple of months ago, for a long weekend and absolutely loved it! The chalet was very well appointed, modern, clean and super spacious. Although the other chalets were booked out, we never heard or saw anyone else which was great! Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very nice lady who also offered us a bottle of their wine. We chose the Shiraz - it was great by the way! What a lovely touch! We highly recommend, the chalets at the Island Brook Estate, to anyone looking to disconnect from the world for a few days. We will most certainly be coming back for another long weekend getaway.

Lovely, well appointed chalets in beautiful bush surroundings.

Very friendly wildlife, very peaceful and relaxing.

Animals were the highlight. The cabin was well designed with both bedrooms and living area overlooking the bush. Spa was fantastic. Property well looked after. We loved our daily visits by the friendly roos and possums. There was plenty of reading material and it was a pleasure to sit in front of a roaring fire each night. Loved reading everyone's comments in the journal and artwork. Hubby had to add his drawings and I wrote our thoughts. Thanks to our hosts for a brilliant stay! We will be back and also spread the word.

My wife and I really loved this peaceful place and the wildlife. Every night we had Possums and Wolies coming to our back door looking for some food which was provide by our hosts Simon and Joy. Great to see them and the Kangaroos in the morning jumping around.

If you can get there you will love it probably the best chalets we have stayed at so far and give them five stars.

This place is really peaceful and a great way to de-stress. The interaction with the local animals is amazing, with kangaroos and woylies almost knocking on the door looking for a treat. The accomodation is good, and has everything you need when staying away from home. The chalets are spaced really well so you can have a private getaway. We love the private spa and relax in there 2 or 3 times a day.

Good wines and friendly staff. Great cellar to visit.

We had a great time here, so many animals our kids loved it. We were greeted at our cabin by 4 kangaroos and then throughout the evening saw bandicoots, woylies, possums and rabbits. They come right up to your door.

The rooms were incredibly clean and tidy and had a lot more than we expected. Even a washing machine and fireplace.

We ended up staying in and having a bbq both nights, felt a lot more relaxing than going back out after a long day sight seeing and driving.

We have 2 primary school aged boys and a 6 month old, the owners were very accommodating. We would definitely recommend this for people with young children, it was very nice.

Nice comfy private chalet with lots of space to explore. The shower is a bit awkward, but still nice and hot so no bother. My one year old daughter loved exploring outside splashing in the puddles and seeing the kangaroos, birds and dog.

Great host, fantastic accommodation, great wine, convenient, central location. Chalet was clean, spacious and equipped with all the things to make our stay easy. The welcome pack was very good with top quality products from local producers.

Absolutely loved our stay here! It was such a great place to disconnect and relax. We were greeted by kangaroos as soon as we arrived and they kept us company while we had a bbq. At night, a few of possums and woylies came out to say hi while we were in the spa. The chalet was beautiful and cosy and had so much character. I have recommended this place to all my friends and I Will definitely be coming back again!
