At The Local Fitness Studio we provide an environment where nobody feels intimidated or uncomfortable! We offer 45-60min workouts focusing on cardiovascular fitness, full body strength or split body building/shaping, Seniors health program, and Juniors fitness. We have highly experienced Trainers who will individualize any workout to suit your fitness level and ability. While we are predominantly a class based facility, we do have available hours for open gym floor training, including any of our class times labelled Split Conditioning. Personal Training is also available by appointment. Our Juniors Strength & Fitness sessions run for approximately 45mins and are limited to children aged 12-16yo. We have a private, air conditioned room for the little ones, located right next to the gym floor for convenience, and peace of mind.

Exercise can be hard, but its not meant to be easy. It can seem monotonous, but repetition creates adaptation, and that's what we need to alter our body shape. Some exercises require focus, but its the attention to the detail that prevents us from getting injured, and getting the most from our efforts and time. Training should be enjoyable. Perhaps not every exercise. But going to the gym should be something to look forward to. The pleasure in going for a workout can be influenced by many things. The music, the facilities, the trainers and of course your fellow gym users. At The Local Fitness Studio we build on a sense of community for our members when they come in to do a class or a workout. Much like when you visit your favourite café, and the barista knows your brew, and you share a waive and a chat with the local regulars. We aim for that same friendly feeling every time you come in for a workout. Because we know the feels of being a Local, in your Local. We also know that when you enjoy your workout, you'll be back, and the consistency of regular exercise is what achieves results. And that, is what we wish for you, YOUR RESULTS!
