For us it was great. Sites all separated by Olive tree lines. Unique out door toilet. (Very clean)
Great swimming hole in the Margret River, only a .9km walk. Can use motor scooter to get there as well (which we did). Floating Jetty and a Tarzan swing across the river.
Hosts where warm and welcoming with unlimited advise on activity's in the area.
An unforgettable experience, the sunset views over the farm, the presentation of naturally crafted timber finishes was impressive, polished concrete floors were like WOW. A most memorable stay 🙂
Olive Hill Farm was our favourite stop for the entire trip of 9 months on the road. Thank you to the hosts with the most, Benji and Helen who were amazing and made us feel right at home. We met some great people there too and we will never forget the experiences we had during our stay. Thanks again for everything you did for us during our stay. Trish, Will, Sam and I will never forget it. Bruce
Lovely place to stay when visiting Margaret River
Wonderfull place to get away from it all. Made to feel so welcome. The accommodation was superb. Would definitely recommend.
We had such a wonderful stay from start to end! The villa Belle was stunning! The spa on the verandah was lovely each night. We booked a Hawaiian massage with their therapists who came and set up and gave us a very relaxing 90 min massage each. The grounds of the retreat are so well kept and it was so nice waking up each morning seeing and hearing so many different types of birds in the lake. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!
Well worth a visit when in Margaret River. The cafe is beautiful. If the weather is good, sit outside, as you are surrounded by small native birds and a garden.
We got the scones with jam and cream, plus a serving of the pancakes. So delicious!
There is a playground for the kids and some animals to look at, including goats, chickens, sheep, emu and pony.
Their cellar door sells a variety of wines, jams and preserves.
Beautiful free camp in amongst the olive trees. Awesome camp hosts. Very quiet. Need your own water and power. Love it.
We just got home from a 4 night stay at Jarrah Grove Forest Retreat and can’t talk highly enough about this little treasure. The perfect getaway to get some much need RnR and recharge the batteries. The chalets are immaculate, spotless, private and had everything we could possibly need during our stay. We spent most of our evenings sitting in the spa outside enjoying the scenery and peace and quiet. We met one of the owners, Sam, during check in and check out and she was kind enough to have a chat and tell us a bit about themselves. Sam and Lee went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect including a couple of Valentines Day surprises. I can’t thank you enough for the effort. The only thing I didn’t like about JG was having to eventually leave. Looking forward to returning very soon.
I took my partner for her birthday it was a Beautiful romantic getaway in this luxury chalet
We had the most amazing time it was so relaxing evething was new & you had everything you could possibly need with a fully equiped kitchen & barbie outside spa
Everything was thought of
Sitting in the spa watching the birds in the trees it was so tranquil & quiet we felt like we were the only ones in the world
Definitely will be back & highly recommend this Unique amazing experience and a Fantastic location for exploring the wineries & berry farm & town of Margaret river during the day to come back to pure luxury
This place is amazing. This was our maiden voyage with our new caravan and we camped off grid (with the exception of intermittent quality connection) for five days. We jagged the perfect spot with our back to the camp and overlooked rolling lush pastures, trees and farmland. Helen was amazing as was Fleur. From the blue wrens to the kookaburras, sheep to cows, this place is a short walk to a part of the Margaret River that is private and includes a couple of Balga trees that have been preserved. Judging their height and that they grow an average of 1cm per year, both Balga trees would have been close to two years old if not more. The camp has a dump point and water and you can order wood and fresh eggs delivered to your site. If you are set up for off grid camping, this place will not disappoint. Thank you Helen for such a warm welcome to your amazing ‘backyard’.
This retreat was absolutely outstanding. Truly luxurious and private. We wish our stay was longer. Wonderful surroundings.
Staff were friendly, food was good and the birds where even friebdlier come and sat on you while you waited and ate tour food
A very nice and quiet picnic area with benches and barbecues. Many nice walking and cycling tracks start from here.
