I came to Wivenhoe Mechanical Services out of desperation and frustration. I had been twice to another mechanic, where I felt patronised, not listened to, and where I was overcharged (even if they did not manage to pin point the problem of the car!!).

Bruce was just amazing. He took the time to find the origin of the problem (actually two problems). He and Dan have explained me everything, actually listened to me, answered my questions, were extremely flexible and friendly. I felt that the prices were fair.

I had a very good experience and I can’t recommend them more.

At around 6.30 Bruce recognised my car on the side of the road on the highway and pulled over to give me a hand with whatever was wrong, above and beyond customer service. Then he opened up his shop and inflated all the tyres.

Fair prices and great results

Bruce and the whole staff were amazing and the service was more than great! Our van broke down and he managed to get us towed away and repair the clutch within only two days. He explained everything so well to us. Even afterwards he checked up, if everything was fine. Thanks again for everything!
