Always great to just sit and watch the turtles at low tide or go for a stroll around the headland .
Great views of the surrounding area. Be aware it is hot so hat, sun screen, and water are a must.

Beautiful views of the city, Cape Cleveland and Magnetic Island. Lots of walking tracks to explore with old forts and historical cemetery walk,beaches and bays to explore. Take water and mossie spray and your camera.
This is the Many Peaks Trail in Townsville at the Cape Pallarenda Conservation Park.
The trail makes up 6.2km and 191m of elevation gain of an 11.5km hike. It is made up of technical rocky rainforest sections and open grassed areas.
There are many places to stop to see the stunning views over the Town Common Wetlands, Castle Hill and the City of Townsville. Once at the top there are remarkable oceanic views of the Palm Island group.
We definitely recommend going and checking out all the trails in the Cape Pallarenda Conservation Park. Hiking or Mountain biking, you're sure to have a great time.

A nice trail hugging cape Pallarenda beach to Shelley beach. Nice ocean and Magnetic island views, historical bunkers and secluded beach. Great at sunset also.
Great place for a walk with some spectacular ocean views. WWII forts adds to the experience.
