“At 2pm Wed 11 Aug I called D. H Steineck and Co to install my new instantaneous gas hot water system. I live about 4 blocks from their registered address in Manning. They said sure no problem that they would be there at 10am the following day. I work full time and told them so, which was not a problem, they would invoice me the bill. I arrived home at 6pm that night to find that nothing had been done. As a long shot, I called their number (9313 1083) and Steven answered. He was very polite and explained that they were down a plumber that day and that they had tried to call me on my mobile phone. I guarantee that nobody from D H Steineck and Co had tried to contact me at all that day. He gave me Barrys number (the plumber) so that I could contact him directly to ask what had happened and Steven said that he may not answer because he doesn't answer unknown phone numbers (is this sounding extremely dodgy or what??). I try calling, sure enough, no answer. I call Steven back and ask if he can call Barry. He does so, then calls me back to say that he will answer his phone if I call him now. I ask Steven to please call Barry and tell him to give me a call instead, seeing as 'I'm their valued customer'. Steven tries to call him, then calls me to explain that his phone is now off. I have never been so appalled at the customer service I received from this company, and recommend that ”
