“Sadly the standards have not improved. Today i was told that i was wasting their time, ignored and sworn at by the store owner. I asked friends and family if they had been here, and everyone that said yes had a story of shocking customer service and poor manners to go with their visit. I have never been so appalled with any business, ever. Not to mention, they didnt appear to clean my clothes. ”

“I should have listened when my friends warned me about this place. I left a silk shirt there to be drycleaned and it came back with two marks and a small hole in it. I asked about it and the incredibly rude owner accused me of wearing it and getting the marks on it before bringing it back in. Would not even consider trying to remove the marks of apologise for ruining my shirt. Worst service ever! ”

“Ruined my suit, leaving blotches all over it in 4 different places. They claimed I was the one that put the stains on there and they were on there when they received it.

Would not offer any compensation or even a refund of the $16 I paid to get it done, even laughed at my mum when she was upset about it. Very very poor business practices.”

“I only booked 2 days before and got my preferred day and time. He turned up exactly on time and was very courteous and professional. The carpet looks great post clean and he got some bad, long term stains out of the carpet and took extra care to make sure I was happy with the results. The carpet dried very quickly too. They offer the best carpet cleaning in the Eastern Suburbs ”

“I am less than happy with the service provided by this dry cleaner. I have used it a few times for cleaning my silk tops etc, but they never came back as well ironed as from other dry cleaners. The major problem occurred when I went to collect my silk dress. It had been badly marked and pieces of silk ripped at the front. In short, this particular dry cleaner has no policy about damaged garments and the owner doesn't agree than any defects should be noted prior to having a garment dry cleaned.”

“I was saddened to receive an expensive silk skirt returned to me after being ''dry cleaned''.

It was too small to fit into. I am usually a size 7, this skirt which had previously been a size 8 no longer fitted me.

When I complained to the management they were dismissive.

I felt hard done by.

“Dolphin Dry Cleaners ruined my brand new $600 dress and he laughed in my face when I asked for compensation. I now have a 1 month old unusable designer dress and he couldnt care less that he ruined it.

“17/9/08. This business lost an overcoat of mine in November 2007. Since then I have made 15 unsuccesful attempts to seek a resloution. This attempts have been by letter, personal visits and phone calls all of which have been met by a 'I don't know anything about this" attitude from Gxxx, the self proclaimed '"sort of" Manager. This "sort of" manager, who just happens to be the only person I have dealt with in an attempt to resolve this, continues to plead ignorance and even after hand delivering the details of all attempts has still failed to respond. The matter was then referred to the Office of Fair Trading on the 15th August, 2008 and to date they have received the same result to the complaint as I have which is no resposne to faxes, phone calls and letters. The most recent messages to the owner Axxxxx has also met with the same result which has now left me no alternative but to seek compensation through the Small Claims Court. All of this can be verified through the Office of Fair Trading ”
