About Armadale City Concert Band

The Armadale City Concert Band was founded in 1987. It is a band where musicians can perform together and caters for the musician who is serious about their performance standard. Armadale City Concert Band aims to perform music which is musically challenging to its members and entertaining for its audience. Members range in age from fifteen to sixty plus. The band gives about twelve performances a year at places such as Highland Games, Minnawarra Festival, ABC Radio and Heritage FM. It gives its own concerts in a variety of venues including the Kingia Function Centre in Byford, Fremantle Town Hall, the Mundaring Weir Hotel Amphitheater, Elizabethan Village, as well as in the Jarrah Hall at Perth Modern School. Rehearsals are every Wednesday evening from 7.30pm to 10.00pm in the Performing Arts Centre of Kelmscott Senior High School. New members are always welcome.
