Holistic HealthWhat Does 'Holistic' Mean ?Holistic simply means 'as the whole', or 'treating as whole by not separating into parts'. A holistic approach to health therefore addresses not just the physical, but also the emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of self. Okay, So What Do You Mean By That ?At Coastal Wellbeing we believe that a physical ailment may be a reflection of an imbalance present in the emotional, mental or spiritual realms and to truly 'heal', you need to address these aspects of your being. So What Can I Do To Heal ?We are fortunate to have three practitioners available that offer a variety of ways to access these other aspects of self. There are many modalities available to address our non-physical self - Reiki - is an effective hands on healing energy transfer, that can bring you relief while leaving you feeling extremely calm and refreshed.Kinesiology - is a science based modality that has many applications. From 'muscle testing' to get a yes/no response from your being, to a massage technique for the alignment of the body or body parts. Our practitioners also use it to get a breath response during sessions. This allows them to identify what is required in order to heal a client.Bowen - is a therapy that frees blocked energy stored in the body, allowing alignment and energy flow to correct physical complaints.Massage - having a regular massage can bring about awesome results. Having a massage combined with any or all of the above modalities can speed the healing process tremendously.Emotional Clearing or Spiritual Healing - works on all aspects of our being at once and can tackle ingrained patterns or beliefs that prevent us from being all we can be. This work is incredible and the possibilities are endless.
