“I am a self employed professional who was enticed by LGH through wealth creation "seminars" in 2000 to participate in investments on a joint venture basis with LGH. Between 2000 and 2007 I participated in no fewer than twelve investments and for the first five years where investments were rolled over (paper transfers) there were no problems. However, when the first sales of assets began there were delays of up to 15 months in obtaining capital return and capital gains. The capital gains were less than predicted. The last investment in 2007 was purely on the basis that it was promoted as being totally different, with LGH bearing all the risk and a guarantee that I would be paid capital and capital gain within 30 days of the end of the 15 month term of this investment.
To date, they have not returned the capital nor the capital gain which was due 8 months ago. Furthermore they are unilaterally withholding capital and capital gains totalling more than $240,000 from my other investments that settled during early 2008.”
