About Us

Kings Mailing Service was established in 1988 as a specialist direct marketing mail house. Since its inception, the company has grown predominantly through referral to become one of the leading mail houses in Sydney. Measured expansion has enabled Kings to maintain the high standards of quality and flexibility that have built us a reputation as an industry leader.

With a focus on innovation Kings was one of the first mail houses to offer "plastic wrap" as a service to our clients. Kings was also one of the first mail houses to install the 'Scitex' Inkjet Printing System and commissioned the first 'Scitex 9 inch' inkjet head in Australia.

Capabilities and Technology

Kings has specialised in servicing the Direct Marketing industry servicing all industry sectors. Kings' clients include leading organisations in the Financial, Manufacturing, Communications, Government, Agency and Media markets.

Kings is a full service mail house with capabilities in data management, full variable data imaging, high speed folding, intelligent and non-intelligent envelope insertion from DL to C4, plastic wrapping, hand processing and fulfillment. Our pro-active approach and in depth knowledge of direct marketing campaigns allows us to offer an unrivalled level of advice and support to our customers. Kings has an Australia Post outstation on site and was one of the first mail houses to be awarded Australia Post's BMP (Bulk Mail Partner) status.

Kings have a wide range of industry leading mailing equipment designed to cater for most customer requirements from the smallest to the largest mail projects.

Data Management

Kings utilise leading-edge technology to provide innovative data solutions that satisfy our client's individual business objectives from mail sorting (to achieve maximum postage discounts) to complex multi stream mailing campaigns and response management. Australia Post-approved AMAS software caters for all Australia Post DPID bar-coding and associated IT service requirements.

Laser Printing

State-of-the-art high-speed laser printers produce exceptional quality and resolution. Laser printing also enables reproduction of high-quality graphics and full duplexing capabilities on paper sizes from A4 to oversize A3.

Scitex Inkjet Printing

This technology provides specific benefits over other printing platforms. Many mail items are traditionally not suitable for laser personalisation due to size, stock weight or certain finishing requirements. Kings' Scitex system overcomes many of these limitations allowing greater flexibility of campaign design.

Mechanical Inserters

Kings advanced equipment has the ability to selectively insert different collateral into different mail packs, which allows for targeted marketing. This technology also offers mail pack integrity when coupled with barcode intelligence. Kings has the capability to mechanically insert into a variety of envelope sizes from DL up to C4.

Handline Mailpack Collation

Kings employ a dedicated team to collate and assemble mailings that are unable to be mechanically processed. This gives Kings' clients maximum flexibility with the pack design and is ideal for regular fulfillment campaigns.

Plastic Wrapping Machines

Kings' machinery can plastic wrap books or magazines as a cost effective alternative to enveloping. This type of packaging is an especially attractive option for Annual Reports or magazines to further distinguish the mail item.

Offset Printing

As part of Blue Star Print Group Kings can provide offset printed items for mailing campaigns including letterhead, envelopes, flysheets and brochures. Involvement with projects at print stage allows Kings to offer advice on pack design with particular attention to postal regulations. This involvement results in substantial cost savings and greater efficiency at the time of mailing.
