The author is William Cristophy who has over 27 years experience in playing the drums. Originally self taught, he has taken lessons from over 65 teachers, studied at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and completed a 5 year diploma at the Institute of Drumming and Percussion.
He has played drums for 35 bands and recorded 135 tracks with different bands, playing over 1200 gigs. His styles range through pop, blues, funk, jazz and rock. As a drumming instructor, he has taught groups of students and over 800 individuals in a one to one format.
