We provide pet owners a caring one-one-one service with the comfort that you will receive your pet and only your pets ashes.

Angel Ashes was founded by Melanie and Faline Williams in 2008 after their individual experiences of loss left them seeing a real need for opening a caring and personalised pet cremation service. Faline has since retired from the business in 2011.

Family Owned & Operated
Angel Ashes is run by Melanie Salter, and assisted by her husband, Jason. Both are caring and dedicated pet owners who understand the pain that comes with losing a pet. This empathy is extended onto every animal that comes into their care for cremation. Angel Ashes provides a caring individual pet cremation and memorial service to help you say goodbye to your pet with love.

We offer the pet owner a more personalised experience, collecting and returning the pet ourselves with caring, one-on-one service, available seven days a week. We offer unique memorial items, such as plaster mould paw casts, keepsake jewellery and bronzing. All cremations include a lock of the pet's hair tied in a white ribbon and a signed certificate of individual cremation.

Business History

After a negative experience with a pet cremation service, Melanie Salter was left holding an urn containing ashes she could only trust were those of her beloved fur-angel, Oakley-Bean. Her sense of peace shattered, Melanie wanted to provide pet owners with the comfort that had been taken away from her. In September 2013, the business expanded to Adelaide, allowing Melanie to offer more pet owners a personalised experience, with a caring, one-on-one

“11.8.2014. Today our old german shepherd Max passed away and within 1 hour the Pet Cremation service came to collect our beloved dog. They handled him gently as he was a big dog. A couple of days later they bought max's ashes back. I have nothing but praise for the way they handled it as myself and my husband are in not in very good health. I would recommend them highly. ”

  • City Of Stirling Pet Funeral Service

“A few years ago I took my dog to stirling for cremation. Could not fault them. Today took my mothers dog. I had to back the car to a gate, the dog was put on a metal trolley and wheeled away. A change of contact details for collection of ashes was written on the man's hand. Glad the vet had put her in a shroud cos the trolley only had a red towel on it to lay her on. Wish I had taken her somewhere else cos felt guilty leaving her there. ”

I would like to thank you for your personal caring service. I was so happy when I found out I could have Raffi back with me in 2 days. Your are wonderful. The wooden carved box is beautiful and the perfect thing to hold Raffi in.

Thank you for all you have done.
