I ordered a Christmas turkey from this shop for 2008 to pick up Christmas Eve. What I ordered was a "whole fresh turkey". When I went to pick it up all they had were self-basting turkeys. These contain gluten containing ingredients and I needed it to be gluten free. First the shop assistant tried to charge me $13.99/kg instead of $11.99/kg. I pointed this out and he got very angry. I was then told the only fresh turkeys were over 6kgs and I could buy one of those. I didn't want to pay twice what I wanted for meat I didn't need. I was told I should have specified I didn't want a self-basting turkey when I ordered. I said when I ordered a fresh turkey and wasn't told it may be self-basting I assumed it would be a plain fresh turkey. I then said forget it. This is absolutely disgusting service. And being Christmas Eve I now need to run around to find a turkey. Thank you for nothing perfect poultry, I will never buy anything from you!
