About Newtown Synagogue

Newtown Shul seeks to provide a space for people to come together for a variety of both social and religious events to celebrate Jewish life cycle events and Jewish heritage. Mostly, people frequent the Synagogue to meet friends and make new ones, in a relaxed and accepting environment. There are many who come to the Synagogue as a place to pray and reflect. During COVID we have weekly services, on Friday nights and Saturday mornings. Outside of the COVID we host a weekly Friday night dinner in our community hall. The Kosher food is prepared and cooked by a roster of volunteers and enjoyed by people from all walks of life who come and join us.
