I engaged the team from All Building Inspections while purchasing a property and was very impressed with their service. I am not pleased with the service that was provided, the inspector has missed multiple defects that we have found on our own and when asked if the inspector could use a thermal camera to inspect if the tiles have been spot fixed in the bathrooms he refused and said he would only do that if he thought he needed to and said it’s normal to spot fix tiles even when a simple google search says it is highly discouraged.
The inspector had poor vision due to age, I had to point out defects multiple times before he could see them.
All the defects listed in the report apart from the insulation in the roof were defects pointed out by myself.
I sent an email to Rachel requesting if the inspection could be redone by another inspector and she has failed to return my email
Edit : We have now conducted a detailed inspection on our own and there are 14 additional defects that were missed, John even missed painters tape that has been there since we moved in for paint defects that the painters missed on handover.
