Divers Den has been proudly operating for over 40 years, we are not only one of the largest but also the longest established Great Barrier Reef operator in Cairns. In 2017 we have expanded into Port Douglas with our newest vessel AquaQuest and a brand new retail store. Whether you're a first-time snorkeller or an experienced SCUBA diver your safety and enjoyment is our priority.
What's more, all our Cairns diving training facilities are under one roof, which is one of the many reasons Deep Sea Divers Den has earned it's PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centre status and PADI 5 Star Career Development status - one of the highest ratings awarded to any Dive Store as recognition of continued Diver training excellence.

1. You book a two day dive trip with the Ocean Quest. Yeah so far so good. You won't see the ship until the afternoon. Before that we go to the reef with a much smaller boat and countless people to dive. I can't.
2. There were problems with the VISA card payment. However, we only had one card with us in the shop. There was a problem with the card. Payment not possible. The remaining luggage was stored at the hotel. Since everything had to be done quickly, we offered to get the other VISA and pay with it when we returned. After a long back and forth no problem. On board we were then asked to leave the ship as long as we could not pay immediately. Incredibly stiff and unprofessional.

Unglaubliche Massenabfertigung. Unfassbar unflexibel.
1. Ihr bucht einen zwei Tages Tauchausflug mit der Ocean Quest. Joa so weit so gut. Das Schiff seht Ihr erst am Nachmittag. Vorher geht's mit einem deutlich kleineren Boot und unzähligen Menschen ans Riff zum tauchen. Geht gar nicht.
2. Man hatte Probleme mit der Kartenzahlung VISA. Wir hatten allerdings im Shop nur eine Karte dabei. Mit der Karte gab es Probleme. Zahlung nicht möglich. Restliches Gepäck wurde im Hotel untergestellt. Da alles schnell gehen musste, haben wir angeboten bei Rückkehr die andere VISA zu holen und mit dieser zu zahlen. Nach langem hin und her kein Problem. An Bord bat man uns dann das Schiff zu verlassen, solange wir nicht sofort zahlen können. Unfassbar steif und unprofessionell.

Loved my experience with Divers Den, did my advanced PADI course and 6 additional dives over three days and two nights on the liveaboard. Miriam was a top notch instructor and the whole team was so friendly and completely on their game! Great experience for less experienced divers like me and more experienced ones as well. Highly recommend!
