Hinchinbrook Visitor Information Centre is the multi award winning gateway to both the Hinchinbrook Shire and TYTO. The Centre performs three pivotal roles within the Hinchinbrook Shire:

Firstly as the gateway to the region for all shire information including souvenirs for sale for visitors and residents alike.

Secondly as an interpretive centre for the TYTO Wetlands with unique, fun and educational displays, activities and workshops promoting TYTO Wetlands, bird watching and environmental messages.

Thirdly provision of self-guided tours throughout the Shire with a focus on the wetlands and TYTO.

Public toilets are located at the rear of the center. Parklands with picnic areas are available alongside ample parking.
