John was sincere, competitively priced and done a fantastic job. He had all the right gear to get the job done quick and efficiently and took pride in his work.

Although it was a reasonably small job of removing the cement screed in laundry area and tile glue in the kitchen, John didn’t stuff me around like some other trades did, he quoted fairly and showed up as agreed and got it done. You can’t ask for anything more!

I often find it hard to trust tradesmen because I’ve been ripped off a few times but these guys are genuine and honest – you can tell straightaway. They gave me a few options to choose from and were fair and transparent from start to finish. Communication is also great - they messaged me the job booking details and I also received a message when the plumber was on his way. Excellent service from top to bottom! I highly recommend this business.

My family have been using Black and Gold plumbing for several years now. Maurice was the only plumber that was able to help my parents with a very complicated sewer issue that even Sydney Water couldn’t work out. Thanks to him they were able to get it sorted with Sydney Water. Since then I’ve used Black and Gold to repair pipes, fix taps that were tricky as they were connected to mains directly, and replace a hot water system and repair a sewer line that also required removing concrete. They are not only competent, but they are also fairly priced and always friendly and professional.

A very professional and friendly service. Maurice was always happy to take my call and offer advice and provide recommendations. They removed an existing water tank and installed a new one very efficiently and with little inconvenience to me.
