The best training course I’ve attended and has i have been a correctional officer for the last 17 years I’ve been through a few. made learning the rules and Regs enjoyable but the main focus was firearms safety. Would like to thank Aaron and all the team for a great afternoon. If you’re considering getting a firearms licence this is the course to take.

Heading into yesterday’s course I was super nervous. Having never fired a gun before, I really didn’t know what to expect.

What an experience!! Aaron, just want to thank you for making me and everyone else feel so welcomed, safe and very comfortable. I am hopeless when it comes to theory based anything. After watching your videos prior, it certainly helped me out a lot during your lesson. Loved your approach and humour during the class. Instantly felt comfortable and not stupid, due to my lack of knowledge and experience.

Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of going for the course

Aaron is a legend. He is the only person I know who can make 4.5 hours of discussion and assessment on Acts and Legislation interesting enough to get through the requirements of a Weapons Safety Course. The best part is the practical assessment. Aaron brings with him a vast amount of experience and knowledge that he enthusiastically shares with all participants. He is very inclusive and makes sure that everyone gets involved with discussion. No question goes unanswered. Aaron brings many relevant examples for participants to look at and/or touch so that we all gain a better understanding of firearms' safe handling. The course, although 6 hours long, probably needs 6 hours to cover all the material. Might be good to redo this program every few years. Maybe a refresher version.

My second time visiting Aron for a gun license! This time was a personal session at his house with my mate. Another great session and very grateful for the time and effort he put in to make this 1 on 1 session happen. His wife even provided a delicious lunch which was unexpected but greatly appreciated. Would highly reccomend to my family and friends!

10 out of 10!!! I cannot recommend Arming the Nation and the trainer Aaron, highly enough. I am completely new to world of shooting but I found this course to be straightforward, very educational and easy to understand. If you've been thinking about doing a gun safety course then book it in. You won't regret it!!!!

I did the Firearms safety course with my two boys, 21 and 11. Aaron was a great trainer/presenter. There was a good balance between theory, practical and testing given the duration of the course and number of participants and his presentation was well targeted to all age groups in attendance. He was very organised and the training was both educational and enjoyable. Aaron was well informed and clearly an expert in the field.

I am a trainer myself (not in this field) and would highly recommend Aaron.

From the initial inquiry into this course right through to completing the course, Phil the trainer and assessor was prompt in correspondence and his expertise in the industry and delivery of the course was executed second to none. Romain came to look at a water leak fault with our Zip Hydrotap, (we’d just moved into a new house). He was absolutely great - efficient, polite, quick and friendly, and sorted out the issue professionally. Raymond are the local agent for Zip taps, so you don’t necessarily have a lot of choice, but I can recommend them and would be confident they would sort any further issues in the future. Cheers!
